A luxurious chalet in the well-preserved village of Samoëns

Samoens has managed to keep its lively authentic alpine culture by combining appealing village life with the tourist attraction of its large ski resort. Being a village classed as National Heritage, Samöens will astound you with its old stone houses made by distinguished and talented stone masons. Did you know? Samöens has a medieval origin referring to the seven mounts that surround the village: Cuidex, Vigny, Folly, Oddaz, Bostan, Chardonnière, Freterolles and La Vullie. This is why the villagers call themselves the septimontains!

The chalet in the summer

At the heart of the Giffre valley, Samoëns has 50 walking trails and 400 kms of mountain biking routes. The Alpine botanical gardens of the Jaÿsinia, the Cirque du Fer à Cheval, the Cascade du Rouget and the Gorges des Tines are also well worth a visit. Paragliding, swimming pool, tennis, golf, hot air balloon, potholing, climbing, watersports or sunbathing etc. It is up to you! The Grange 1731 is ready to provide you with a revitalising and energetic summer.

The chalet in the winter

A ski bus stops at the foot of the chalet with just a five minute ride to the Grand Massif gondola lifts. The 265 kms of ski runs benefit from the perfect amount of snow all throughout the season.  The Grand Massif is like one big playground reaching an altitude of 2500 m right opposite the Mont-Blanc. Stunning scenery and thrills are guaranteed!
